Death Race 2000 Movie Car
This one of a kind Corvette was the star automobile from the 1975 sci-fi movie Death Race 2000, starring David Carradine and Sylvester Stallone. The car, Designed by James Powers and Constructed by Dean Jefferies, features the unusual combination of a VolkswagenŽ chassis, Corvair air-cooled power plant, and Corvette style body. This famous car was purchased in 2002 by Mike and Laurie Yager and is on display in the Mid America Motorworks MY Garage Collection.
